General FAQs

1. Do you provide in studio, on location or outdoor sessions? Is there an extra charge?

Yes we provide the options of in studio, on location or outdoor sessions. We have a professional studio at our home with a variety of backgrounds, props, and professional lighting. On location sessions can be done at your home, either in doors or out doors, in which I will being my mobile studio to your home. Outdoor sessions can be completed at my place or yours or a place of your choosing. There is no extra charge as long as the location is within a 45 miles radius of our studio. (Note: This does not apply to weddings and events.)

2. Are you members of any groups or associations specific to the industry?

We are members of Professional Photographers of California (PPC) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

3. Do we have input into the photo session?

Yes. We encourage your input into style, background, poses, etc of your photo session. Some people know exactly what they want and we are here to create that for you. We want you to be happy and enjoy your photo shoot as well as the photos.

4. What, if anything, can we bring for the photo session?

We encourage you to bring things that show who you are. Feel free to bring pets, props, other people to ensure that we capture your personality in the photos.

5. Can we buy all the photos from the photo session?

I have packages available for photos on CD. I encourage people to pick the best photos or the photos they like the most and have them put on CD. All photos will be retouched and will come with a release so that you may use them as you like as well as print your own.

6. Can I have color, black and white, or sepia prints?

Yes! Our online proof viewing as well as our proof cds allow you to view each photo in color, black and white and sepia.

7. Are my photos retouched?

Photos that you choose for any of our products, prints or CDs are full retouched.

8. When will my proofs be ready for viewing?

Proofs are ready for viewing no later than 7 days after the session. If you choose online viewing you will receive an email with instructions on how to view your proofs. If you choose to have a Proof CD, it will be ready to be picked up no later than 7 days after the session. Please remember proofs are only color corrected and cropped – they are NOT retouched. Retouching takes place after you place your order.

9. How long before I can pick up my products?

CDs, Slideshows and Prints will be available for pick up 7 days after the day you order them. Albums, coffee table books, and gallery wraps may take up to 10 days before they are ready for pick up.
